Now compare it

Ask the private hospital you are considering at home for a written, itemised quote for the same operation. That is the only fair comparison, and we would rather you made it before you commit to anything.

What is Earlobe Repair?

Earlobe repair, also called lobuloplasty, reshapes split, torn or stretched earlobes and closes enlarged piercing openings. It can improve contour after damage from earrings, stretching or injury. The treatment plan depends on the amount of tissue available and whether one or both ears need repair.

Who may be suitable?

A consultation helps establish your goals and assess the skin, existing scars and healing history. Tell the surgeon about previous raised scars, medical conditions and medicines.

What the procedure involves

  • Assessment and marking: The surgeon discusses the intended contour and marks the repair.
  • Local anaesthesia: The earlobe is numbed. A straightforward repair usually takes less than an hour.
  • Reshaping and closure: Damaged or scarred edges are trimmed as needed and the tissue is joined with fine stitches. Patients usually leave the same day.

What to Expect in Lahore

  1. Arrival and consultation — Day 1: Meet the treating surgeon, confirm whether one or both lobes will be treated, and agree the procedure, quote and follow-up arrangements. Tests are arranged if clinically indicated.
  2. Day-case repair — typically Day 1 or 2: Treatment is planned after assessment. Receive wound-care instructions and contact details before returning to your accommodation. An overnight hospital stay is not routinely planned for a simple repair.
  3. Local recovery and review — remainder of the stay: The proposed itinerary allows 8 days in Lahore and 7 hotel nights. Arrange a wound review before departure. Removable stitches are commonly taken out after 1–2 weeks, so confirm whether removal will occur in Lahore or with an agreed clinician at home.
  4. Departure and ongoing care: Travel timing depends on the surgeon’s assessment. A longer stay may be needed; the itinerary does not guarantee healing or clearance to travel on a fixed day.

Recovery and risks

Temporary swelling, bruising and discomfort may occur. Follow wound-care instructions and protect the repair from snagging. Ask your surgeon when re-piercing is appropriate. Risks include infection, bleeding, altered sensation, scarring and asymmetry. Contact the treating team promptly for increasing redness, discharge, worsening pain or wound separation.

Your estimate and next steps

The estimate separates the procedure from accommodation, airport transfers, appointment transport and coordination. The personalised quote should specify one or both earlobes, the extent of reconstruction, local anaesthetic, dressings and follow-up. Confirm any additional charges for tests, medicines, extra visits or extra nights. Meals, flights, visas and travel insurance are not included in the displayed estimate.
