Assessment and treatment for a persistent anal fissure that has not improved with appropriate non-surgical care. A surgeon reviews your symptoms and bowel-control history before recommending options such as lateral internal sphincterotomy or another suitable approach. Usually planned as day-case care, with an individual recovery and follow-up plan in Lahore. Feel free to contact us to discuss your case and quotation.
Your estimated journey

Prices on this site are estimated starting prices for a straightforward case. Your final price is confirmed only after the treating doctor has reviewed your case.
Now compare it
Ask the private hospital you are considering at home for a written, itemised quote for the same operation. That is the only fair comparison, and we would rather you made it before you commit to anything.

Care for a Persistent Anal Fissure
An anal fissure is a tear in the lining of the anus that can cause pain and bleeding with bowel movements. Some heal with non-surgical care. A persistent or recurring fissure needs assessment before deciding whether a procedure is appropriate.
Assessment and Treatment Options
The surgeon reviews previous treatment, bowel habits, medicines and any existing difficulty controlling wind or stool. Treatment may include medicines, botulinum toxin or surgery. Lateral internal sphincterotomy divides a small part of the internal sphincter muscle to reduce pressure and help healing. Other approaches may be considered according to the findings and your individual risks. The final procedure must be named in your treatment plan and quote.
What to Expect in Lahore
Before your visit: Discuss your symptoms, previous prescriptions or procedures and preferred dates. We can help coordinate a consultation; an enquiry does not replace clinical assessment.
Consultation and preparation — usually Day 1: Meet your surgeon, agree any examination with your consent, discuss alternatives and review the proposed anaesthetic. Confirm tests, the procedure, discharge support and written quotation.
Day-case treatment — after assessment: Many procedures are performed under general anaesthesia with discharge the same day. Arrange a responsible adult to accompany you and stay with you for at least the first 24 hours, or follow the hospital’s specific instructions. Non-clinical coordination is not nursing or personal care.
Initial recovery and review: The proposed itinerary allows 5 days in Lahore and 4 hotel nights, without a planned hospital night. Receive written instructions, the prescribed bowel-care and pain-relief plan, contact details and a review appointment.
Departure and continuing care: The surgeon decides when travel is appropriate. A longer stay or admission may be required. Arrange follow-up at home; this short itinerary covers initial care rather than complete healing.
Recovery and Aftercare
Discomfort and a little bleeding may occur initially. Follow the treating team’s instructions on washing, dressings, medicines and keeping stools soft. Ask about work, driving, lifting and longer journeys. Seek prompt medical care for persistent or heavy bleeding, fever, worsening pain or feeling generally unwell.
Risks and Realistic Expectations
Risks include bleeding, infection, delayed healing, recurrence and anaesthetic complications. Sphincter treatment can affect control of wind or stool, temporarily or persistently. Discuss this specifically with your surgeon, particularly if you already have bowel-control concerns or a previous childbirth injury. Relief and healing cannot be guaranteed.
Your Package Estimate
Your final written quote must identify the exact procedure and anaesthetic, clinical fees, tests, medicines and review inclusions. The estimate adds 4 hotel nights, airport transfers, transport to planned appointments and non-clinical coordination.
Standard and Premium differ in accommodation and logistical arrangements; the agreed medical treatment remains the same. Meals, flights, visas, travel insurance, companion care, additional nights and treatment of complications are outside this estimate unless expressly included in your written quote. Any general package wording elsewhere on the page applies only to the services actually agreed.
