What is Labiaplasty?
Labiaplasty reduces or reshapes the inner labia, the folds of skin around the vaginal opening. It may be considered for persistent discomfort or personal concerns after assessment. Labial size and shape naturally vary; larger or uneven labia are not necessarily abnormal.
Who may be suitable?
An adult considering surgery should discuss symptoms, goals and alternatives with a qualified specialist. An examination helps identify other causes of discomfort. Surgery cannot guarantee a particular appearance or improved sexual satisfaction.
What the procedure involves
Planning: Agree the intended reduction and discuss scarring and sensation.
Surgery: Under local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia, selected tissue is removed or reshaped and closed with stitches.
Observation: Same-day discharge may be possible after assessment.
What to Expect in Lahore
Arrival and consultation — typically Day 1: Meet the treating specialist for a confidential discussion and examination with your consent. Agree the treatment scope, tests, anaesthetic plan and personalised quotation.
Procedure — after assessment: The proposed itinerary assumes day-case surgery. Confirm whether overnight care is needed before booking accommodation.
Initial recovery and review: Allow provisionally for 8 days in Lahore and 7 hotel nights. Receive written care instructions and emergency contact details, and arrange a review before departure.
Departure and continued follow-up: Travel readiness is assessed individually. Extra nights may be needed, and follow-up at home should be planned. The local stay covers initial recovery rather than complete healing.
Recovery and risks
Swelling and soreness are expected initially, and healing can take some days. Follow the surgeon’s advice about wound care, work, exercise and when to resume intercourse. Risks include bleeding, infection, scarring and altered sensitivity. Report worsening pain, fever, significant bleeding or wound concerns promptly.
